“Dream Big or Stay Home”

I love movies….just love them, and for the past couple of weeks various studios have been sending me some of this years best films in the hope of procuring my Screen Actors Guild Awards vote.  They send me DVD’s, free tickets for theater viewing,  and downloads to watch on my computer.  Needless to say I’m in heaven.

I love movies not only for sheer entertainment but for the feeling that they give me of being in a classroom.  As an actress I can never watch a film without feeling like I’m learning something.  I also feel like watching great films and great performances fuels the acting fire in me and helps to keep that dream alive.

My life has taken it’s twists and turns, the biggest of course being the blessing of my Hank.  Being Hank’s mother has been the most rewarding and amazing thing I have ever done, and it has taken me on roads that I had never planned to travel. Those roads have been broadening and enlightening, exciting and joyous. And they have shown me the depths of an overwhelming love that I never even knew existed before Hank appeared on the scene.

Within and through all of my passionate mothering, my passion for acting has never died.  I have never stopped dreaming of having a life where I am able to take my acting work to another level professionally.  Hank is my first priority and forever will be, and I cherish my Young Living business and will always want that in my life.  But I just have this feeling inside that says, “Never say never…everything is possible!”

So as you watch great films, read inspiring books, listen to music that makes your heart sore, or scream at the television while watching your favorite sports stars play their hearts out, allow yourself to dream.  Dream of whatever it is that you have ever thought wasn’t possible because it is.  Why not just act as if it is all totally possible?  All you have to lose is feeling sad that it hasn’t happened. Me? I’d much rather feel the elation of the dream!
